Terms and Conditions

1. General

By booking an appointment or purchasing a gown or accessory, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and the smooth running of our studio.

2. Nature of Products

  • All dresses are pre-loved and sold off-the-peg.

  • All garments and accessories are sold as seen. As these are pre-loved items, they may show signs of wear and will likely require alterations or small repairs. We strongly encourage customers to:

  • Carefully inspect all items before purchase

  • Try on garments

  • Ask any questions prior to completing the sale

3. Appointments

  • All appointments must be booked in advance.

  • A £25 appointment deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • This deposit is fully refunded upon your arrival at your scheduled appointment.

  • No-shows or cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of the £25 deposit.

  • We kindly ask that you arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment or rescheduling.

  • A limited number of guests may accompany you, as agreed at the time of booking.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or end an appointment if behaviour is deemed inappropriate.

4. Orders & Payments

  • As dresses are sold “off-the-peg”, full payment is required at the time of purchase.

  • Ownership of the gown remains with the studio until full payment has been received.

  • Deposits to secure a dress are not standard practice and are offered entirely at our discretion.

  • Where a deposit is accepted

    • It is non-refundable and non-transferable

    • The deposit is £100 or 25% of the value of the dress (whichever is higher)

    • It will secure the gown for 48 hours only

    • If full payment is not received within this 48-hour period, the dress will be released for sale and the deposit will be forfeited.

5. No Refunds or Exchanges

  • All sales are final.

  • Due to the pre-loved and off-the-peg nature of our gowns, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations once a purchase has been made.

  • This includes change of mind, event cancellation, sizing/fit issues or any damage or marks noted after you leave the shop.

6. Collection & Storage

  • Dresses must be collected within the agreed timeframe communicated at the time of purchase.

  • If a gown is not collected on time, storage fees will apply:

    • £25 per week

  • Storage fees must be paid in full prior to collection.

  • We reserve the right to resell a gown if it is left uncollected for an extended period.

7. Alterations

  • Alterations are not included and we do not provide quotations or estimates for any alterations

  • We are not responsible for alterations carried out by third parties.

  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges based on fit or alteration outcomes. Any alterations are the responsibility of the customer after purchase.

8. Liability

  • While every care is taken with your gown, the studio is not liable for:

    • Wear and tear consistent with pre-loved garments

    • Damage occurring after collection

    • Third-party alterations

    • Delays outside of our control (e.g. supplier delays)

9. Acceptance

By attending an appointment or purchasing from us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
